Here are some shots I took at Spring Fest at Purdue a week or so ago:
Brandon has joined me in my love for photography...or at least, he's on his way! He's becoming a quick pro!! I took this on our Canon PowersShot, and it was so blurry I tried to make it look like a sketch in Photoshop.
I was able to take some pictures of my mom's side of the family during Easter. My cousin had asked me to take some pictures of her granddaughters (they're twins!). I also added some from the egg hunt. So, here ya go:
I'll start off with my favorite for the night. I think this is Alexis, but I'm not quite sure! I forget which one was wearing what color.
I'm attempting to start bringing my camera with me more often, and let me just say..this inspired me to! Brandon went to the driving range, and I went with him. I swung a few (my best and farthest..drive?...ever!), and then got down to business at what I'm better at (than golf anyway). I was VERY excited about the 1st in this series...sigh...I LOVE photography!
I love how you can see his shadow in the club..That was a very happy moment when I realized what I was getting and was able to set it up nicely...:)
I probably looked like a total creeper when I took this picture. I was dressed in black dress pants and a black sweater. I was about 30-45 minutes early to my last shoot, so I trusted my GPS and traveled to the nearest park. It was really small and in the middle of nowhere. There was a baseball field (I think) and a few pieces of playground equipment. I really like the warn and used look this had. I think it'd be a fun place for engagement or senior pictures.
Either tonight or this weekend, I'm going to go hunting for places to take engagement pictures for my next shoot. I feel like I've been saying that quite a bit...but I will do it! Soon! :)
It’s pretty awesome when you get to do what you love with the one you love. Photography has always been Kim’s passion, and well, Brandon’s pretty good at it too! We’re learning and getting more ideas and having more fun every day!
What we do...
We're into what they're calling "lifestyle" photography. Here's our definition: We like to take photographs capturing the simple and true moments in life. When people are in their element, relaxed, and being them! That's what counts!
Please contact us (info@kimdavisphotography.com) for information about a session and availability. We'd love to hear from you!
P.S. We're based out of West Lafayette, Indiana, but we travel too.
